Fix acast constantly "updating" and draining battery
On my motorola droid, the acast app is constantly updating, even though i have it set to daily at 4am. The Icon will go away, then immediately reappear as a new launch. All it says is "updating...", and when i click on it, it just opens the application.
Status: under reviewIf you have this problem, what device and version of Android are you using?
Can you send a log capture when that is happening? The capture can be collected with the free version of Log Collector by 'two forty four a.m. LLC' from the Android Market.

Fix horizontal layout in player
When the player is in horizontal orientation, the buttons are extremely tiny and hard to press.
Vertical layout is fine (with nice big buttons)

improve handling of password protected feeds
There are some podcast feed such as http://audio.zeit.de/podcast/zeitaudio_abo.xml where only the media files are password protected. When trying to download those files, I get a "Download Excception - Dowload failed: null". I assume that the authentication currently works against the ... more
Status: under reviewDoes it work if you set the feed credentials manually? You can do this by long pressing the specific feed in the Feed List View. This should display a login dialog.

existing playlist is clobbered when you hit play
if i build playlist, and then play something directly from podcast, my playlist is replaced by the item i played directly

make it possible to move items in playlist straigt to the top or the bottom of the playlist.
Now I have to move each item step by step. The choice "move to top" and ""move to bottom" would make the playlist easier to handle.

Add option to auto-remove read/played content from the playlist
After something has been played it be nice to have it removed from the playlist. That way when I have say NPR auto-queue for me when it downloads new eps, I don't accidentally re-listen to yesterdays news.
Status: under reviewI've had this feature enabled before but it didn't work as well as it should so I disabled it. I'll see if I can put some time in to fixing this.

Allow us to "Scrobble" podcasts we play to Last.FM or Libre.FM
Many people use Last.FM, and recently a new Free Software Project "Libre.FM" has started to perform a similar function.
For those who don't know, Last.FM (and Libre.FM) comprises of three parts.

Password protected feeds Problem
One of my premium Podcasts bitsundso PLUS didn't work with the Password authentication. When i try to add it, it shows the title "plus" in the bar and then nothing no error message or something else. The FAQ from the provider said it must support HTTP Authentication (Digest).

Not everybody has Market on their device so please can you list it on AndAppStore.com.
Status: plannedACast is also published on Archos market site appslib.com. I've had problems running the appslib market app on my G1 though.

fix the seek bug
I subscribe to the "preston and steve" mp3 podcast. Seek in the player has been broken since a few updates ago. When I tap on the seek bar, it appears to jump to the correct position & time, but only e.g. jumps forward ~30 seconds instead of an hour.
Status: under reviewSeek in streams does not work properly for Android 1.6/2.0 due to a bug in Android.

fix the Google import so that ampersands in password don't cause login failures.
My password has an ampersand in it. As such, all Google Reader logins fail. This problem is common to several apps. Evidently the ampersand needs to be escaped before transmission. fix queueing files
Play a file from a filter.
Long-press a different file, select "Queue item."
The first file will be queued in the playlist, not the file you selected. -

Fix NPR Hourly News podcast download.
After the initial download, it never updates to a new file. None of the settings seem to help. Only workaround for now is to delete the feed and re-add it.

Hide album art from the gallery
My gallery is full of podcast album art, making it hard to navigate. Perhaps hide the album art like you do the media files, or at least put all album art into one folder.

Allow filtering by feed's "rating"
I want to out low-rated feeds when filtering. Allow me to only see items from feeds rated at least 3, for example.
